After knowing and loving the Action Bibles, I was excited to see something to introduce for the upcoming advent season! This book wasn’t what I had anticipated, but actually has grown on me as I decided not to wait for advent to start reading it with my son. “Oh! I never really thought about it like THAT!” And “wow, did you know that?!” And a whole bunch of other similar comments. It was an enlightening moment when I realized that having the difference perspective on the Bible stories he knows well has helped him to think deeper and through a whole different lens.
