REVIEW
Mistress Of All Evil as the other books in this series brought us a new sight for Disney villains like maleficent in this case; We got to see what took her to become that malevolent and malicious being that was presented in sleeping beuty. As always im going to make this review shortest as possible, but at the same time dig for the small and meaningful details that the author left in the book , and how I interpret them. SPOILERS: We got to see our most loved witch circe in action after seeing her only for a few pages in the last book. A lot of struggles and revelations were presented to her this time. She had to deal with the decision to whether or not wake up her sisters the ones who even though loved her had, also brought sadness and desperation to the many kingdoms. At the end she used her "sisters" devotion to make up for herself some of the mess they created to prince Philip , Aurora and of course her kingdom. I would like to talk about the spell that brought not just one but two plot twisted to the story. This spell was something magnificent putting into the story philosophic problem that blew my mind. Parents talk a lot about how they give all their love to their kids, and this story took this phrase very literal. Basically this spells consist of a witch giving all the best things of herself to create a new being that could be consider their offspring. This spell created not only aurora, but circe and it explained something that we didn't even think we needed explanation for. Circes powers weren't something that she was born with; it came from her sisters ..... Oh my mistake I meant mothers. THATS RIGHT THE ODD SISTERS WERE CIRCE'S MOTHER ALL THIS TIME. It explains how circe could be so different from her "sisters" she was literally the reason why the odd sisters didn't have love inside them, because she was the one that contain all of it. Maleficent story was apparently a thing based on fate ; as the fairy godmother and nanny said ,she was destined to become pure evil, but there's still this unpleasant feeling within this whole tale that mades it impossible not to have hope for her redemption even though we already knew her end. We saw maleficent grow through nanny's memorie flashes, how she suffered from other faries' despite and unfairness putting us to her side. She lost almost all her love and made aurora , her daughter. She gave her away and tried to save her from her own power that she knew herself because it was her own too. At the end we see circe finding a new home and family within tulip, nanny and snow white. And leaving unclear whether the odd sisters will be awaken.
